Have any of you single guys out there besides me found the state of Colorado to have a terrible dating scene?

It seems as if all of the single people here are already taken (especially here in Colorado Springs). Also, it seems as if you were not born and raised here then you are just S.O.L. and don't stand a chance of finding anybody. At least that's been my experience here in the Springs. Also, the ONE PERCENT of single women that do exist here seem very stuck up and snooty compared to the gals back on the east coast. Anybody else out there experience the same thing or is it just me?
