Is there a place where I can have my German writing checked by native speakers?

I'm teaching myself German and I'm writing short paragraphs everyday as a practice. Is there a place in the Internet where I can have my paragraphs checked by a native German speaker for free? I don't want to use online translators coz the results are often screwy.
