Is my BlackBerry Curve 8320 a goner?

My BlackBerry Curve got wet this past weekend and now when I put the battery in it the LED display at the top shines red, the ons light up, but there is no activity with the LCD display. I've already accepted that it is done but still have a tiny bit of hope that its not.
